Our Program is designed for young conductors and advanced conducting students, with the emphasis on interpretation, performance and rehearsal technique, while working with a professional orchestra under the instruction of top lecturers.
The attendees will be working everyday with the North Bohemia Philharmonic Teplice under the guidance of Prof. Johannes Schlaefli and Norbert Baxa.
Our Program offers lots of podium-time and video-reviews with focus on technique, rehearsal-work and interpretation with a wide range of repertoire to choose.
An important part of the International master-class 2012 is the preparation of the out-door concert on August 17th and the final concert on August 18th in the Cultural House in Teplice. These concerts are a part of the summer concert season in Teplice. All participants will conduct in a concert, either on August 17th or August 18th.

The candidates will share podium time allowance equally.
Each participant has to make a selection of 4 pieces (composers + concrete movements) in the order of his/her own preference. Besides these four choices, all candidates have to prepare both pieces for the Small Ensemble.
Each participant will conduct either in the out-door concert on August 18th, or in the final concert on August 19th. The final decision as for the date and the specific repertoire of each candidate will be made by the faculty.
