ABOUT

Our conducting masterclass offers a unique opportunity to study three of Antonín Dvořák’s major symphonies in collaboration with the North Czech Philharmonic Teplice, under the guidance of Maestro Norbert Baxa. In addition to individual lessons with piano accompaniment and numerous rehearsals with the symphonic orchestra, participants will gain a comprehensive overview of traditional interpretative approaches to these works.

REQUIREMENTS

Each candidate is required to prepare the full published programme of the masterclass and to indicate their repertoire preferences, in order of priority, in the application form. It is possible to select individual movements from different symphonies. The specific repertoire for each candidate will be discussed after a successful application. 

APPLICATION

Candidates should fill in online application form with an attached video recording (minimum length 5 minutes) of themselves conducting a concert or opera. Rehearsal or performance videos are acceptable.
